Hoy has partnered with Lincoln Park Zoo to host Fiesta Familiar — the largest family event of its kind in the Midwest. Fiesta Familiar brings the very best family entertainment and interactive pavilions with hands-on activities to the great outdoors of Lincoln Park Zoo.
Fiesta Familiars goal is to enrich the lives of children and families by creating a unique experience that inspires learning.
Throughout the day, and lead by Hoy and some of the most recognized community organizations in Chicago, families are encouraged to engage in hands-on projects in the fields of art, health, gardening, science and music.
Come to the Arts & Crafts pavilion to work together with different Chicago artists to inspire creativity and build unique craft projects. In addition, we have a "Reading Corner" which celebrates literacy and promotes early childhood education.
The Health & Nutrition pavilion is packed with valuable information, free health screenings and activities for the entire family. Don’t miss it! Come and learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.
All day music and entertainment for all ages!
Visit the Home & Garden pavilion and learn about green living and home safety. In addition, we have different stations where children can play and discover nature.
Explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in an interactive way by creating fun projects. Don't forget to visit the "Electronic Music Corner" which is an audio and visual space that unites electronic and digital sounds!
